Home Workout Routines When You Are Too Busy To Hit The Gym

 

You are an avid fitness enthusiast and are not afraid to sweat it out at the gym. But with tight schedules and office hours taking up most of your time, sticking to your gym routine becomes impossible.  Solution? A home workout routine.

Here are some routines you can fit in to your packed schedule.

Squat

  • Stand up with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  • Keeping your back straight, start bending down until your knees are at 90 degrees.
  • Pull the abs inside while pushing back your hips and extend your arms out.
  • Complete 3 sets of 15 reps each.

Press-up

  • In a plank position, keep your hands on the floor, shoulder width apart.
  • Ensure that your toes are touching the ground.
  • Now keeping your back flat, try touching the ground with your chest. Ensure that your elbow is at a ninety degree angle.
  • Breathe out and push back until you are back to the plank position.
  • Complete 3 sets of 10 reps each.

Side Plank

 

  • In a push-up position, lie face-down. Your palms should be right next to your shoulder without any pressure.
  • Now move to the left side while balancing on your right arm.
  • Stack your left foot atop the right and hold the position for 30 seconds.
  • Complete 3 sets of 10 reps each.

Bicycle Crunches

  

  • Lie down on an exercise mat with your face up.
  • Placing your hands behind your head, tuck in your abs.
  • Now lift your knees and bring them closer to your chest, while simultaneously lifting your shoulder too.
  • Turn to your right side with your left elbow edging towards the right knee.
  • Swiftly turn sides and bring the right elbow towards your left knee
  • Keep on altering this pedaling motion.
  • Complete 3 sets of 10 reps each.
