If long hair is your thing, keeping a long beard might prove to be challenging and hectic. Taking care of both can be tedious and take a considerable amount of time. However, some men have a great grooming regimen in place. In such a case, you can always opt for the long hair and dense beard look, however, if maintenance is a problem, keeping your beard short and trimmed will ensure it does not look unkempt and untidy.

The advantage of being over a certain age is being able to sport the grey beard which can look intense and sophisticated making the man who wears a beards speckled with gray and white seem elegant and powerful. This is a beard style that goes down really well with graying hair and that means you no longer have to worry about dyeing your hair. Take advantage of the natural hair colour and avoid keeping two different tones on the head and the face.

Sporting a full beard might not be a great idea as it may result in significantly covering up your face, but a short and well-trimmed beard would work very well in such a case.
